CONSULTING – MANAGED SERVICES – EDUCATION
As Edison once remarked ‘Vision without execution is hallucination’ and thus, in the same vein, is strategy.
Strategy, whether, the devising, planning, or clarifying of it, requires a constant focus – a continual adaptive commitment by organisations to stay ahead or, at least, stay afloat. Market and/or world developments impact organisations and requires continual evolution or transformation. These can manifest in many ways, whether it is customer/client value proposition, increasing technology capabilities, such as cloud and/or AI-machine learning applications, competitor threats or events, constant cost pressures or through merger and acquisition.
Often the organisation’s design is also central to any strategic aim or pivot, and thus inextricably linked to re-evaluation, redesign, restructure, rebasing, or even redundancy where applied to functions.
Solutions we provide under this cluster are:
STRATEGIC CLARIFICATION
We assist in clients through a structured process of ‘strategic clarification’ (SC) – a framework for evaluating the current organisation’s strategy and business model(s) against its current capabilities and the demands of the marketplace. The framework is designed to be nimble and adaptive in practice, addressing issues of market underperformance and/or the adoption of innovation to drive/grow enterprise objectives.
We can deliver in a flexible format driven by business intelligence, which is outcome-based using various proprietary methodologies to generate customised solutions. For smaller organisations, we have the option of providing a SCO as a managed service.
ORGNISATIONAL CHANGE MANAGEMENT
We have various methodologies and approaches at our disposal to effect change, whatever the nature or scale, provided by many years’ expertise. We’ve undertaken various business/functional transformation projects, particularly with our soft system/behavioural approach to implement successful agile change encompassing complexity and multi-faceted initiatives.
We have a deep understanding of operating culture and how that can be both enabler and resistor to transformation efforts with the challenges this presents. Our Transformation Playbook contains a large array of methodologies to use to ensure success.
More often, change projects draw on many of our other offerings and Playbooks as a cohesive portfolio underpinned by behavioural/management science. A lot of our expertise has derived from multiple functional transformation efforts.
